Nationally Broadcast Teleconference
As the implementation date for OASIS-C grows closer and closer, do you or your clinical staff still have some lingering questions related to OASIS-C?  Is everyone in your agency clear on how to determine which version of OASIS should be used for patients admitted or recertified on or around January 1, 2010?  Are there questions about how to answer the process questions that require "look back" when a patient has started on OASIS-B-1, but transfer or discharge will require the use of OASIS-C?

OASIS-C Round-up offers your agency an opportunity for your management and clinical staff to gather by a telephone and hear an overview of last minute clarifications and any late breaking updates on OASIS-C as well as ask questions on the intent, scoring or process items related to the many new and changed items.

The session speaker, Judy Adams, RN, BSN has spent many hours over the last year and a half tracking the evolution of OASIS-C along with the many clarifications realted to individual OASIS items.  This is an excellent opportunity to clarify any outstanding questions or discuss tools and strategy that can assist your agency to make this significant transition from OASIS-B-1 to OASIS-C.  Judy is a well-known health care consultant and speaker with over 30 years of health care experience and extensive  experience in home care and home health management.  Judy holds the Homecare Coding Specialist - Diagnosis certification from the Board of Advanced Medical Coding and the Certificate of OASIS Specialist - Clinical from the OASIS Certification and Competency Board.   

For home health agencies, this hour and a half long teleconference may be used to help meet the 12 hours per year education requirements under the Medicare Conditions of Participation. An educational investment in your aides pays off in quality care.

Fee includes toll-free dial in number, handouts, post-test, evaluation and certificate. The dial-in number, access code and handouts will be emailed to the contact person indicated on the registration form 1-2 days prior to the conference.  *AAHC, AHPCO, NPDA

CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations received 7 days prior to the conference will be entitled to a refund less a $30 administrative fee. Cancellations received less than 7 days prior to the conference will not be entitled to a refund. Cancellations must be in writing via fax: (480) 603-4141.
